I have experience writing for other photography companies on a regular basis, have been the senior editor of a magazine, have worked for other photographers over the last couple of years on their social media and I don't want to leave out that I was also the 4th grade spelling bee champ. The first thing I like to do is have a consult with you to make sure we're a good fit. We'll go over what your needs are, how we can accomplish your goals once you hire me as your virtual assistant and I'll be able to answer any questions you have. This is also a great time to go over your own workflow and how you handle your office tasks.
Next, you'll decide which services you need to outsource. You can choose to outsource as little or as much as you want. Take into consideration your budget, the amount of time you want to save and how much time you want to spend on other areas in your life. You can always adjust this later.
I know outsourcing can be a hard decision, so I want every step of this process to be simple for you! You may be already organized and this will be as simple as sending me login credentials and your workflow. Or...you're not so organized and we can work through that together! I communicate everything with you every step of the way. I'm a big fan of Trello and keeping track of where I am and what needs to be done there. This helps me to stay on top of tasks and allows you to see what's going on. To make this work, we have to communicate with each other!
These 4 humans have always and will forever be my why. I work for myself so I can make my own schedule. They grow so fast and before you know it, they become adults, married and start having children of their own. And I want to be there for all of it. I want to support them, have them over for family pizza and game night and plan camping trips together.
I get to do all of this because I work hard and practice what I preach. We have to work. We can't avoid that. But what is this life for if we don't slow down and spend our time doing what's most important to us and spending it with who's most important?
